The Eatery (Restaurant) at the Golden Lion Hotel is so named because it offers a comprehensive, but not overwhelming, menu which is available throughout our historic coaching inn but also alfresco in the courtyard area. For larger groups we also have plenty of seating in the many of the hotels alcoves. The main menu is reviewed regularly by our head chef who travels the area to obtain the best quality local products. We have the perfect setting for you to enjoy food and beverages including a choice of 15 wines by the glass and a selection of up to 4 real ales. When searching for places to eat in St Ives Cambridgeshire the Golden Lion is definitely the place to visit and is situated at the heart of St Ives.

Local Ale & Beer
We're proud to support and serve traditionally brewed local beers.
Adnams Southwold - Founded in Southwold, Suffork in 1872 by George and Ernest Adnams, this award winning brewer produces some of the best cask ales in the land.
Greene King - This beer is characterised by its hoppy taste and aroma that comes from the use of Challenger and First Gold hops which are combined with pale and crystal malts.
Guest Ales - We also frequently sell and promote local and guest ales from independent and small brewers.
